愛情巷,人情淡!

Few weeks ago I went to Penang with my friend. We lived in a guesthouse located at LoveLane just behind the Penang State Museum 1. We had a good time in Penang, and planned to be back in Penang if possible.

However just minutes ago, I heard this news below:
被匪刺喉逃出店 血女跪求沒人幫

I know the victims. They are from LoveLane and we met in their shop. Both of the couples are so talented, a bright star in future. The girl waited us with patient when we visited the shop, because it is late at night and it is the time to close the shop. At last we bought a postcard cost us only RM5. But we have no small change, we paid with RM50. The girl smiled at us and returned into her workshop and brought us the change. The guys showed up from his workshop behind the shop, with bags. They are about to leave. The guys are a bit shy and walked towards his guitar, right at the corner of the shop. He played the guitar. We are shy too. I grabbed my coke left at the doorstep, and we left.

I felt quite secure when I was in Penang, especially in LoveLane. There are lots of tourists, some of them are big size angmo, and there is a bar nearby, people walking here and there.

What happened to the society nowadays? How can we point our finger to the Chinese when the case of XiaoYueYue happened? Where is our souls? Where is our hearts? Where is the police? Where is the peace?

I just can't understand, most of the time.
